Job summary

Brunello Lounge, part of Loungers, is seeking a hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen and build strong teams across shifts. You will ensure high standards, from dish execution to team development, and foster a one-team culture with front of house.

You’ll manage a busy service, drive KPIs, and progress through in-house training and development programmes. A competitive base salary, bonus, paid overtime, and progression await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef for progression to next step.
• Ability to coach and develop KPs, Chefs and Sous Chefs.
• Strong understanding of GP, labour, stock and food safety KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and coach your kitchen team at all levels with clear development plans.
• Know menu specs and kitchen processes, spotting issues and opportunities.
• Own a site-level action plan with the GM covering wait times, NSF standards, ordering, stock counts and cleaning.
• Deliver on kitchen KPIs and report on performance behind every shift.
• Schedule fair rotas aligned to sales and bookings forecast.
• Collaborate with front of house to build a one-team culture.
