TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the flagship restaurant of a prestigious Scottish group in Scotland. This high-volume, fast-paced role involves menu development, team leadership, and driving the site toward Rosette accreditation.

There is genuine progression to a major new opening in Edinburgh within 6-9 months. The Head Chef will lead a 15-strong brigade, oversee all kitchen operations, manage food GP and labour, and collaborate with the Exec Chef and Operations team to

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
• High-volume, fresh food background.
• Experience with Josper grill / open-fire cooking.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Commercially aware with good financial acumen.
• Creative with menu development.
• Experience in rosette-level or premium restaurant environment desirable.
• Open to relocation to Scotland (or already based in Scotland).

Responsibilities

• Lead a brigade of 15 chefs and oversee all kitchen operations.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus with the Exec Chef.
• Manage food GP, labour, and compliance targets.
• Drive the restaurant towards Rosette accreditation.
• Mentor and develop the kitchen team.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef and Operations team.
