Ellis Mack Recruitment is seeking an experienced Head Chef for a prestigious Edinburgh City Centre operation, delivering high-quality food across bar, restaurant and events.

You will lead a brigade, uphold first-class standards, mentor junior staff and drive profitability through GP and waste control. This is a dynamic role in a busy high-end environment with event catering elements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef in all kitchen operations, maintaining and driving consistently high standards of produce.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of all junior members of staff.
• Daily stock control and ordering.
• Responsible for KPI targets such as GP, EH issues; report targets to Management in the head chef's absence.

Role: Head Chef

Location: Edinburgh

Operation: High End Bar and Brasserie

Salary: £70K OTE

Ellis Mack Recruitment is working with a fresh food Restaurant and Bar operator looking to recruit an experienced, Head Chef for one of its prestigious Edinburgh City Centre businesses.

This business is a quality focused, busy Operation with strong Bar, Restaurant and Room revenue streams. This operation also hosts a variety of events so experience delivering Late Night Food / Events would be ideal.

Role/ Responsibilities:

• Assist the head chef in all kitchen operations, Maintaining & driving consistently high standards of produce.
• Assist in the recruitment & training of all junior members of staff.
• Daily Stock Control & ordering
• Responsible for all KPI targets such as GP %, environmental health issues on a daily and in the head chef’s absence you will need to report all targets to Management

Skills & Experience:

• Have experience in a similarly high-quality operation.
• Possess a passion and knowledge for food.
• Be driven and focused on first class standards across every aspect of the operation.
