Mansell Consulting Group LTD is partnering with a market-leading countrywide restaurant group to recruit a Head Chef for an all-day dining venue in Whitby. You will lead a passionate kitchen team, shape the menu, and ensure every plate leaves the pass with quality and flair.

This role focuses on creating a dynamic atmosphere, coaching chefs, controlling costs, and upholding food safety standards across breakfast to dinner service. Competitive salary and progression await the right chef.

Qualifications

• Previous Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience in a busy restaurant.
• Strong leadership with energy and positivity.
• Creativity, passion, and love for great food.
• Thrives under pressure and works well in a team.
• Solid understanding of kitchen management, GP control, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a talented kitchen team.
• Drive standards across food quality, service, and presentation.
• Create exciting specials to keep the menu fresh and customers returning.
• Manage kitchen operations, stock, ordering, and food costs.
• Coach chefs and support their progression.
