Chefs for Chefs are supporting a prestigious coastal Yorkshire restaurant seeking an ambitious Head Chef to lead the kitchen in Bridlington. You will shape menus, mentor a small team and partner with owners to maintain exceptional standards and local sourcing.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef ready to progress to Head Chef
• Minimum of 3 years professional chef experience
• Strong passion for fresh, seasonal cooking and high standards of quality
• Excellent leadership and ability to develop a team
• Good commercial awareness including food GP and kitchen cost management

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team (current team of 4 full-time + part-time chefs)
• Deliver consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
• Create and develop seasonal menus with locally sourced ingredients
• Manage stock, food costs and kitchen budgets
• Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborate with owners to sustain and grow the restaurant's reputation
• Drive consistency, creativity and continuous improvement in the kitchen
• Review suppliers and supply chain while maintaining strong relationships
