Job summary

Young's is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a busy kitchen, creating seasonal menus and driving the dining experience. You will inspire the team, manage costs, and ensure top quality dishes while maintaining high standards of service in a traditional country pub setting.

You will have autonomy to craft unique menus, collaborate with suppliers, and participate in training and development programs. The role is on-site with opportunities to influence menu direction and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to inspire and lead a kitchen team to deliver high quality dishes.
• Costing and menu development for seasonal menus.
• Strong communication with front of house and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop fresh seasonal menus for multiple revenue streams.
• Manage kitchen staff rota, training and health & safety compliance.
• Drive sales and growth through engaging with kitchen and front of house teams.
