Job summary

Young's Pubs is seeking a Head Chef for its Cobham venue. You will be the creative leader of the kitchen, writing your own menus using fresh seasonal ingredients and delivering the food vision for the pub.

Qualifications

• Have experience championing excellent service through quality food as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
• Demonstrate a passion for leading and developing a team
• Be an active hands‑on team player with excellent communication skills
• Be responsible and able to manage kitchen staff rota, training and health and safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen GP and labour with strong planning and organisational skills
• Design and deliver new dishes and daily specials to reflect fresh seasonal ingredients
• Be autonomous in creating menus that match the food vision of the business
• Lead and develop a team, ensuring high standards of service and guest experience
