The Crown in Minchinhampton, part of Young's Pubs, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a dynamic kitchen team. You will design seasonal menus, source local produce, and maintain high standards of quality while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will drive food strategy, cost controls, and staff development in a busy, community-focused pub environment, creating dishes that reflect the local character and seasonal availability.

Qualifications

• Experience developing menus that reflect local seasonal produce.
• Strong focus on food safety and HACCP practices.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Write and evolve seasonal menus aligned with the business vision.
• Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
• Cost and portion control, menu engineering, and GP/labour management.
• Collaborate with front-of-house to drive sales and consistency across the pub.
