Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Head Chef for the Mermaid, part of the Vintage Inns family of pubs. You will lead a kitchen team to deliver high-standard food and drive guest satisfaction across branded menus within a warm, inviting pub environment.

You’ll manage ordering, prep, stock control and health and hygiene compliance, while inspiring your team and contributing to sales targets. This role is suitable for someone aiming for their first Head Chef appointment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as head chef or senior kitchen leader.
• Ability to manage food ordering, stock control and hygiene.
• Experience with branded menu implementation.
