Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a proactive Head Chef for The March Hare to lead a kitchen that consistently delivers high‑quality dishes and charming guest experiences.

You will inspire the team, manage ordering, prep and stock, and ensure strict health and hygiene compliance while working within a branded menu.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or senior kitchen role in hospitality.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Solid knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver high‑quality food.
• Drive sales and guest satisfaction through team leadership.
• Oversee kitchen operations including food ordering, prep and stock control.
• Operate with a branded menu and ensure compliance with standards.

As Head Chef at the March Hare you'll lead the way in creating a kitchen to be proud of. You’ll be inspiring your team, instilling the passion that ensures all the food that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard. Managing all areas of the kitchen, you’ll keep our guests coming back for more
