HC One is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in preparing nutritious meals tailored to residents' needs. This role involves managing food stock, optimizing budgets, and ensuring compliance with nutrition standards, all while promoting resident wellbeing. As a Head Chef, your responsibilities will include managing the kitchen team to prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals tailored to residents' cultural preferences and dietary needs. You will oversee food stock management, optimize budgets, and liaise with support teams to ensure compliance with nutrition standards, all with a focus on Resident wellbeing.
Requirements for this role include an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Your positive energy, organizational skills, ability to follow recipes accurately, and considerate communication are essential qualities.
