About The Role
HC-One seeks a Head Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate, and an understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Beyond qualifications, we value your positive energy and ability to connect with people. You should be organized, capable of planning and prioritizing independently, and precise in following recipes. When communicating with Residents or colleagues, kindness and consideration are essential.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You must also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
