Responsibilities

1. Assist in daily kitchen management
   • Ensure smooth and professional kitchen operations following Head Chef’s instructions and company standards
   • Support and communicate effectively with the Head/Sous Chef and Restaurant Manager
   • Manage the kitchen and team in the absence of the Senior Chef
   • Manage stock levels efficiently, minimizing wastage
   • Report equipment issues promptly
2. Food Quality, Presentation, and Hygiene
   • Prepare dishes with fresh ingredients to company standards
   • Report issues with food quality or freshness
   • Follow stock labelling and rotation procedures
   • Maintain correct temperatures during storage and cooking, recording on logs
   • Support menu changes implementation
3. Supervise Kitchen Porter Team
   • Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness and presentation
   • Ensure proper use of equipment and chemicals
