Job summary

Brunning and Price Pubs Ltd near Haighton Manor is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead a dynamic kitchen, shape seasonal menus and drive high-volume culinary excellence. You will manage the team, collaborate with the pub manager and Executive Chefs to enhance food culture and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience as head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment.
• Responsible for food culture within the pub and for seasonal menu formulation with Executive Chefs.
• Strong leadership and business acumen to manage stock, GP and labour controls.

Haighton Manor is a country pub bursting with character, original features and a big old bar at the heart of all things. Our menus change with the seasons with plenty of opportunity for our Head Chef to be involved and show their personal touch. In addition they have four bedrooms for those who'd like to join us for an over night stay. With plenty of events going on as well, this is an exciting opportunity for a new Head Chef to join the team.

About You...

Our kitchens are dynamic, fast paced, and high volume so you will have experience of being a head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment. You will be responsible for the food culture within your pub, working closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward, helping to formulate seasonal menus with our Executive Chefs. We are looking for a confident leader who will nurture their team and create an inclusive and supportive environment. You’ll also need excellent business acumen to manage a well-run kitchen, keeping on top of your stock, GPs and labour controls.
