We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Catering Services Team as a Head Chef. You will support the Head of Catering Services and manage the catering team within the department, producing high-quality food for patients and staff, and delivering excellent customer service.
We seek a candidate with a solid background in the catering industry, eager to develop further and proficient in managing a busy Catering Service within an NHS Hospital.

The Catering Department is a busy, multi-functional area of the Hospital, providing meals for patients and staff, and meeting broader Hospitality Services/Catering requirements for the Trust.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience, preferably with an advanced certificate or diploma level NVQ Qualification (Level 3) or equivalent. Strong time-management and leadership skills are essential, along with proficiency in computer software such as Word and Excel, and strong administrative skills.
The role includes catering services at Ellesmere Port Hospital, requiring regular visits to ensure standards are met. A full driving license is necessary for this aspect of the role.
