Qualifications

  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 (further training available).

Job description

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of a nutritiously exciting and unique menu using our fresh and sustainable ingredients for students and staff. You will focus on delivering the highest quality of food and service, demonstrating creative flair, originality, and industry influence.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Bring our exciting menus to life, using recipes designed with maximum nutrition in mind.
  2. Support the team to ensure a fantastic dining experience for students and staff, adhering to company standards.
  3. Maintain the highest standards of Food Hygiene, Allergen, and Health and Safety compliance.
  4. Produce hospitality services as per client requests.
  5. Provide outstanding support and guidance to the team, acting as a positive role model.
  6. Build positive relationships with clients and customers.
The Ideal Candidate

We seek someone passionate about maintaining high standards of food and service, with the following qualities:

  1. Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients, preferably within an educational setting.
  2. Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 (further training available).
  3. Excellent knowledge of kitchen Health and Safety practices.
  4. Basic computer skills and experience with different systems.
  5. Self-motivated, creative, and proactive.
