Job summary

The Education Network is seeking Learning Support Assistants to join a post-16 setting in Newcastle. The role is full-time on an ongoing basis with potential to become permanent and starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include one-to-one and small group support, aiding learning activities in and outside the classroom, and supporting students with SEN. DBS checks and compliance checks apply; pay ranges £90–£110 per day depending on qualifications and experience.

• Experience working with young people within the past 2 years.
• A patient, supportive, and positive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for education and student development.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students.
