Job summary

Herefordshire & Ludlow College is expanding its Student Support Team and seeks resilient, motivated people to provide care, support and academic assistance for students with special educational needs and disabilities.

You will work directly with young people in and out of the classroom, delivering 1-to-1 support, small group sessions and study skills development, while liaising with the Head of Student Support for SEND and teaching staff to ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 support for students with SEND.
• Deliver small group support and study skills development.
• Liaise with the Head of Student Support for SEND and tutors to ensure a safe and supportive study environment.
• Work directly with young people in and out of the classroom environment to meet individual needs.
• Engage in on-the-job training and contribute to continuous improvement of student welfare.
