Job summary

Yeovil College is seeking an experienced Higher Education and Adult Lead to steer the HE and Adult provision, shaping learner experience, quality and compliance with regulator requirements.

The role focuses on using data, learner voice and regulatory insight to drive improvement, strengthen outcomes, and support growth across the College, working with stakeholders and partners to deliver excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-16 education, ideally within a college-based Higher Education or Adult learning environment.
• Strong regulatory and compliance experience in a regulated environment.
• Proven track record of using data and insight to improve learner outcomes.
• Leadership and relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Learner-focused approach including widening participation and safeguarding.
• Excellent written English and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across HE and Adult provision.
• Use data, insight and learner voice to drive improvement and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with Office for Students, Adult Skills Fund and regulators.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the College to support growth and best practice.
• Turn insight into action to enhance learner journey and progression.
