Job summary

Blackpool and The Fylde College is seeking a Curriculum Leader (Quality) to drive improvements in learner progress and assessment across provision. The role focuses on leading the quality process, ensuring standards are applied consistently rather than teaching.

Work with Curriculum Managers and Programme Leaders to support quality improvement, strengthen assessment practices, and embed quality systems across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on improving the consistency and effectiveness of learning and assessment processes
• Support colleagues to strengthen assessment practice, standardisation, and learner outcomes
• Monitor and drive the implementation of quality systems and QIP actions
• Use data and quality intelligence to identify themes, risks, and areas for improvement
• Provide coaching and guidance to colleagues, without formal line management responsibility
