Job summary

West Bromwich Albion FC is recruiting a Hawthorns Helper to support matchday operations at the Hawthorns Stadium. This casual role may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the club.

You will be the club's face of help on matchdays, assisting visiting fans and supporting events with a uniform provided and safeguarding training arranged.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organised and methodical approach to workload.
• Confidential and diplomatic.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Understanding of safeguarding.
• Knowledge of the Hawthorns stadium and surrounding local area.
• Experience of working with children and or Vulnerable adults.
• Experience of working at large scale public events.
• Full driving license.

Job description

Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club we have an exciting opportunity to join our matchday team as a Hawthorns Helper. This is a casual matchday contract so this may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays asrequired and in line with business needs.

As a Hawthorns Helper you will be the clubs face of help and support on matchdays and potentially events that are held at the Hawthorns Stadium. You will be part of a team that will offer guidance and assistance to visiting fans, home and away, to enhance their customer experience. You will be deployed into areas on the perimeter of the stadium pre match and into Concourses within the stadium during the match. You will be identified by a uniform provided by the club and training in customer service and Safeguarding will be provided.
