Are you an Haulage Helpdesk Coordinator looking for your next role? Then we may have the perfect role for you based at our offices in Colchester, Essex.

As our Haulage Helpdesk Coordinator, you will be working as part of the National Logistics Team. The site is easily accessible from Braintree, Chelmsford, Wickford, Basildon, Rayleigh, Southend on Sea, Heybridge, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Ipswich, and the surrounding areas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Reporting into the National Haulage Service Desk Manager, the successful Haulage Helpdesk Coordinator will carry out daily tasks including liaising with Hauliers, managing mileage queries, inputting haulage rates, and processing tickets and payments within our systems.
  • Liaising regularly with Hauliers over the phone and engaging with internal teams such as Business Administration, Planners, and others.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders of various seniority levels.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, preferably within a logistics environment, and demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven experience in an administrative environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Team player attitude and confidence to liaise with various teams and stakeholders
  • Flexibility in using IT systems including SAP, MS Office, and internal systems like Fourtex (Apollo)
