ISQ Recruitment LTD is recruiting Hatchery Operatives to join a poultry hatchery on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is a practical, hands-on role focusing on eggs and chicks, with full training provided and support for welfare and biosecurity.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual and capable of working in a team. Hours are Monday to Friday, with options for overtime after training, and salary is up to £28,000 per year.

Qualifications

• No previous hatchery or poultry experience is required.
• Full training will be provided.
• Duties include handling eggs and chicks.
• Respect for hygiene, welfare and biosecurity.
• Early start with Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handling eggs and chicks safely.
• Supporting daily hatchery operations.
• Cleaning and disinfecting work areas and equipment.
• Maintaining high standards of animal welfare and biosecurity.
• Completing basic records and following site procedures.
• Working as part of the hatchery team.
