Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a HART Recruitment and Quality Manager to support domiciliary care services and 365-day operations in Leicester. The role focuses on reablement, discharge support, and signposting for customers needing short-term care.

A DBS check is required and DBS enhanced disclosure is noted in the posting. The position involves a rolling shift pattern with early, late and day shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 GCSEs A - C grades including English Language or other qualifications of an equivalent level.
• Experience of working in local government and relevant experience working within an Adult Social Care setting.
• Experience of managing risk and ensuring the best outcome for the customer and undertaking research to identify agencies to effectively signpost relevant queries.
• Experience of working effectively as part of a team, support and developing colleagues and have experience working within a customer service or customer contact centre.
• Knowledge of using complex ICT customer service databases to record and retrieve customer information and the use of Microsoft Packages Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to learn and process new information quickly and accurately.
• Able to identify and record critical information and demonstrate quick thinking and problem solving, with fast and accurate keyboard skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the day to day running of the HART service which operates 365 days a year from 7am to 10:30pm with a rolling rota including weekends.
• Carry out tasks to help with reablement and signpost to relevant agencies as needed.
• Work as part of a team, support and develop colleagues and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Record and retrieve customer information on ICT databases and use Word, Excel, and Outlook effectively.
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication and maintain attention to detail in all duties.
