Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is recruiting for a HART service care role based in Leicester. You will provide short-term homecare and reablement support to help people regain independence and support timely discharge from hospitals.

The post requires a DBS check, a full UK driving licence, and flexibility to work a rota including nights, weekends and bank holidays across various locations in the county.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with adults in a social care setting.
• Ability to move and handle people who use the service.
• Clear and accurate communication with varied partners.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• The role involves working flexibly on a rota including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Working across the county and travelling between sites as required.
• Delivering high-quality care and support to enable independence and safe discharge planning.
