Job summary

Line Up Aviation seeks a Senior Engineer- Hardware in the Loop for a 6-month contract in Stevenage, onsite only. The role develops and maintains RF equipment, produces RF targets for missiles, and integrates RF, electronics and software to run HWIL simulations. Compensation is £55 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35, with SC clearance required before start. You will adapt to new engineering contexts and support real-time system design.

Qualifications

• RF design or testing experience.
• Ability to analyse system performance.
• Experience debugging interfaces and integrating systems.
• Experience designing real-time, robust systems.

Our client has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer- Hardware in the Loop to join them on a contract basis for 6 months with possible extension.

Role: Senior Engineer- Hardware in the Loop

Location: Stevenage, fully onsite

Hourly Rate: £55 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35

Clearance: SC required before starting

What you'll be doing:

• As a HWIL engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing RF equipment and working with multi-disciplinary teams to combine RF, electronics engineering and software development to produce new capabilities that enable HWIL to run new simulations - Produce new RF targets for missiles to track, simulated ECM. testing, root cause analysis, design, development, integration.
• You will be able to adapt to new engineering situations and be comfortable in abstracting detail in order to understand the simulation and missile's behaviour
