Job summary

Coastal Farm is seeking a frontline team member to uphold customer service standards, assist customers in locating products, and support in merchandising and price-signing. You will handle phone inquiries, communicate with staff via radio, and maintain shop cleanliness.

Knowledge of products and promotions is preferred, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and help customers locate products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with associates.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products and promotions.
• Assist in merchandising, floor moves, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Help in other departments when needed and perform daily cleaning.
