Rural King in the United States is seeking a Cashier to deliver friendly, accurate service while ensuring a positive customer experience. You will handle cash, card transactions, and inquiries, while promoting loyalty programs and protection plans.

You’ll greet customers, operate POS systems, and coordinate with team members to meet shopper needs in a fast-paced store environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and other technology.
• Ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Positive, professional, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and work well in a team.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow cash-handling procedures, returns, exchanges, layaways, and price disputes.
• Answer customer questions and provide basic product information.
• Educate customers about Rural King Loyalty Program, RK Visa, and RK Plus Protection Plan.
• Respond to store calls using professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate with loaders and associates to address customer needs.
• Reconcile registers, complete required paperwork, and maintain records.
