Job summary

Saltrock is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our coastal lifestyle brand on a 32 hour contract. You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive sales in store.

The role involves leading a friendly team, delivering great service, merchandising per brand guidelines and ensuring the store looks inviting, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards. Training and development support is part of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in Retail Assistant Manager or team leader role.
• Strong communication and customer focus.
• Able to train and develop staff.
• Comfort with brand guidelines and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the Store Manager to achieve store KPI’s.
• Motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and maximise sales.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of team members.
• Process sales transactions with care to achieve targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising per Brand guidelines.
• Ensure a welcoming in-store atmosphere and high housekeeping standards.
• Provide product information and stock availability to customers.
• Assist with markdowns and price alterations as needed.
• Keep products tidy and replenished; manage deliveries.
