Job summary

NCC is seeking a Hard Services Manager to join our Bristol site. The role focuses on supporting continuous improvement of hard services compliance and related maintenance challenges within a high-demand manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include managing LEV, fire safety, legionella compliance, and high-risk permits, while driving proactive maintenance and asset replacement planning. Strong technical and stakeholder-management skills required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems typical of complex manufacturing facilities.
• Experience with building compliance standards and permit issuance.
• Contractor management experience for high-risk activities (e.g., work at height).
• Record-keeping and documentation for maintenance/ compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance activities for LEV, fire safety, and legionella; assess current stage and drive improvements.
• Review heating and chilled water systems and drive remedial actions through to completion.
• Support project planning, asset replacement scheduling, and proactive maintenance initiatives.
• Manage permits for high-risk work and oversee contractor/vendor performance.
