Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Hard Services Supervisor to manage planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems, plant, equipment and building fabric. The role supports site services operations, ensuring statutory compliance is maintained and contract requirements are met within budget.

You will supervise maintenance staff and specialist subcontractors, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for building services.
• Proven track record in facilities management or building services in commercial properties.
• Experience as a fully qualified Maintenance Technician.
• Good understanding of building fabric maintenance and ability to communicate technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering planned preventative and reactive maintenance across building services, plant, equipment and fabric.
• Support statutory compliance across mechanical, electrical and fabric services.
• Supervise maintenance staff and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure tasks are completed within contractual timescales and service level agreements.
• Promote health and safety compliance, risk assessments and permit-to-work procedures.
• Assist with budget control, cost monitoring and procurement of materials and labour.
• Maintain communication with Hard FM Manager, operational teams and client stakeholders.
• Support contract reporting, asset management records and lifecycle projects.
