Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management with a hard FM focus.
• Solid knowledge of building services, fire safety, and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing specialist contractors and vendors.
• Good budget awareness and cost control abilities.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Managing hard FM services across premises, including M&E, HVAC, fire systems, lifts, plumbing and fabric.
• Overseeing PPM and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring timely resolution and high standards.
• Ensuring statutory compliance (fire safety, electrical, gas, asbestos, LOLER/PUWER).
• Sourcing, managing and monitoring specialist contractors for quality and value.
• Carrying out site inspections, risk assessments and maintaining compliance records.
• Managing facilities budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Planning minor works, refurbishments and building improvements.
• Supporting emergency procedures and business continuity planning
• Supervising facilities or maintenance teams where applicable.
• Promoting sustainability and energy efficiency across sites.
