Job summary

WR HVAC is recruiting an experienced FM Contract Manager for Hard Services in the North West. The role covers a broad lifecycle from survey through to delivery across Hard FM and M&E contracts, with strong focus on SLAs, KPIs and client relationships.

Hybrids and site leadership are possible within the portfolio, with a clear career path and a competitive package including a £60,000-£70,000 salary, car allowance and bonus. You will lead on surveying, costing, quoting and delivering technically.

Qualifications

• Experience as an FM Contract Manager or similar role with hard FM/M&E knowledge.
• Strong HVAC/building services understanding and supplier management.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients and manage contract performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Hard FM and M&E maintenance contracts
• Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance and engineer performance
• Manage SLAs, KPIs, compliance and client relationships
• Survey additional works and technical upgrade opportunities
• Produce scopes of work and develop practical solutions
• Cost projects and prepare customer quotations
• Present proposals and close additional works
• Manage project delivery through to completion and handover
• Control subcontractors, budgets, margins and variations
• Identify lifecycle, remedial and plant replacement opportunities
• Support contract renewals and account growth

We're recruiting an experienced FM Contract Manager for a growing technical facilities management business.

This is a broad role combining contract management, technical surveying, estimating, project sales and delivery across a portfolio of Hard FM clients.

A major part of the position is taking opportunities through the full lifecycle:

Survey → Scope → Design → Cost → Quote → Close → Deliver

The Role

• Manage a portfolio of Hard FM and M&E maintenance contracts

The Candidate

• Experience as an FM Contract Manager, Technical Contract Manager or Account Manager
• Strong Hard FM / M&E background
• Good knowledge of HVAC, heating, mechanical or electrical building services
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
• Able to survey, scope and cost technical works
• Strong commercial awareness
• Confident client-facing communicator
• Experience managing SLAs, KPIs and contract performance
• Full UK driving licence
