Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Fabric Technician / Maintenance Operative to carry out planned and reactive general maintenance tasks, support engineers, and maintain high safety and customer-service standards on site.

You will be reliable, practical, and hands-on, communicating effectively with the team and staying organized with strong time-management skills while learning new skills to support colleagues.

• Carrying out planned and reactive general maintenance tasks.
• Supporting engineers with planned and reactive maintenance activities as required.
• Undertaking building fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating works.
• Performing basic locksmith duties.
• Escorting FM visitors, suppliers, and subcontractors around site.
• Completing additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned and reactive general maintenance tasks.
• Supporting engineers with planned and reactive maintenance activities as required.
• Undertaking building fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating works.
• Performing basic locksmith duties.
• Escorting FM visitors, suppliers, and subcontractors around site.
• Completing additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and customer service at all times.

It's a Bonus If You Have

• Basic joinery or locksmith experience.
• Painting and decorating skills.
• Previous experience in building fabric maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Experience within facilities management, maintenance, or a similar environment.
