Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking a Working Supervisor in Billericay to oversee reactive repairs and void works within a social housing property maintenance team. The role combines supervisory oversight with hands-on maintenance to keep repair programs moving.

You will supervise operatives, monitor quality and safety, and coordinate workloads to ensure timely, high-standard finishes while liaising with residents and management across sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a working supervisor role within social housing or property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of reactive repairs and voids.
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support operatives across reactive and void works.
• Carry out hands-on maintenance and repair works as required.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and health & safety.
• Coordinate workloads and ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Liaise with residents, contractors, and management.
• Help resolve issues on site and ensure works meet required standards.
