Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are seeking a Working Supervisor - Voids for a housing association's in-house repairs and maintenance team in Oxford. The role suits a Multi Trade/Senior Tradesperson stepping up to supervision while still applying hands-on trade skills.

You will lead a 6-8 person team, allocate tasks, monitor progress, ensure quality and safety, and keep thorough records to ensure properties are ready for re-let.

Qualifications

• Experience in voids, repairs, maintenance or property refurbishment.
• Experience as a Chargehand, Working Supervisor, Senior Operative or similar is ideal.
• Strong trade knowledge with the confidence to support other trades.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to manage priorities and keep works moving in a busy environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

An established housing association is looking for a Working Supervisor - Voids to join their in-house repairs and maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for a Multi Trade / Senior Tradesperson / Chargehand who is looking to step up into a supervisory position while still using their trade knowledge on a day-to-day basis.

You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating a team of around 6-8 operatives, helping to keep void works on track and making sure properties are completed to the required standard ready for re-let.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within voids, repairs, maintenance or property refurbishment
• Experience as a Chargehand, Working Supervisor, Senior Operative or similar is ideal
• Strong trade knowledge with the confidence to support other trades

• Able to manage priorities and keep works moving in a busy environment
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Comfortable using a mobile device to update job information
