Job summary

Brellis Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation at our Warwick site, overseeing a small team and ensuring goods in, goods out and stock control run smoothly.

Requirements include four to five years in warehouse management, hands-on operation of a warehouse management system (ideally Odoo), a valid counterbalance forklift licence, and proven experience developing a small team. This is a full-time role with core hours 08:00–16:30.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of experience managing a warehouse.

• Hands-on approach to goods in, goods out, stock accuracy and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily running of the warehouse area, including goods in and goods out
• Organising the warehouse and ensuring trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly
• Looking after stock accuracy, ensuring it is booked in and out properly
• Ensuring fresh stock is booked in correctly and FIFO is followed to prevent obsolescence
• Helping with picking orders as needed
• Managing and developing a small warehouse team (currently two people, with scope to grow)
• Ensuring the team’s forklift licences are current and the team is properly qualified

Warehouse Manager

Location: Warwick
Salary: circa GBP36,000 - GBP37,000
Hours: Full time, 08:00 - 16:30. The warehouse itself operates extended hours across the day, but this role oversees rather than works those hours.
Site: Approximately 15,000 sq ft warehouse

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily running of the warehouse area, including goods in and goods out
• Organising the warehouse and making sure trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly
• Looking after stock accuracy, making sure it is booked in and out in the proper way
• Making sure fresh stock is booked in correctly and a first in, first out process is followed so stock doesn't go out of date or become obsolete
• Helping with picking orders as needed
• Managing and developing a small warehouse team (currently two people, with scope to grow)
• Making sure the team's forklift licences are current and the team is properly qualified

Requirements

• Four to five years' experience managing a warehouse
• Comfortable using a warehouse/management information system, ideally Odoo, and able to get up to speed quickly with training
• Counterbalance forklift licence essential (the site has no racking, so reach is not required)
• Experience managing and developing a small team
• A hands on approach to the basics of running a warehouse: goods in, goods out, stock accuracy and organisation
