Job summary

Provit Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to join a busy operation in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. The role is permanent, full-time and will involve managing stock, goods in and out, and a small team through peak periods.

You will oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, health & safety, and reporting while ensuring efficient operations and cost control. Salary is GBP34,000–GBP35,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics management experience
• Experience supervising a warehouse team
• Good knowledge of stock control and warehouse operations
• Good IT skills, including Excel
• Strong organisational skills
• A practical, hands-on approach
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
• FLT Licence is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff
• Organise picking, packing, loading and returns
• Manage stock levels and stock control
• Keep the warehouse organised and running efficiently
• Arrange couriers, transport and deliveries
• Make sure equipment and stock is prepared and ready when required
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs where needed
• Use and maintain warehouse management systems
• Monitor warehouse performance, costs and productivity
• Maintain Health & Safety standards across the warehouse and yard
• Manage vehicle movements and loading operations
• Complete warehouse reports and administration
