Job summary

WR Engineering is hiring a Product Quality Assurance Technician to support a busy fresh produce operation. You will help ensure every product leaving site meets the highest standards of quality, legality and food safety, working closely with production teams.

The role covers monitoring quality throughout packing, recording checks, supporting investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints, and contributing to continuous improvement with the QA team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing or fresh produce QA role.
• Soft fruit experience is desirable.
• Keen eye for detail and commitment to food safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor packing line standards and identify quality or labeling issues.
• Ensure product specifications and documentation are up to date and followed.
• Support shelf-life assessments, taste panels and product evaluations.
• Assist investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Work with Production, Line Leaders and QA team to drive continuous improvement.
