Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a QA Assistant for day shifts to support a busy chilled warehouse operation. You will be responsible for quality checking incoming goods, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and working as part of an on-site QA team.

The role requires comfort in a refrigerated environment and a focus on accuracy and service quality. We welcome candidates with at least 1 year of experience handling fresh produce and any food safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Clear, precise communication and good attention to detail.
• Time management and prioritisation skills are important.
• Ability to work in a team and also independently as needed.
• Work in a refrigerated environment is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the onsite QA team and quality check incoming products.
• Ensure food safety compliance and highlight issues to QA management.
• Support the team to receive, store and dispatch goods while maintaining service excellence.
