Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd in Long Stratton is seeking a Production & Assembly Operative to join a growing manufacturing team. You will prepare and assemble interior components using hand and power tools, measuring to specification and ensuring high-quality output.

Working as part of a skilled team, you will read job instructions, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with 13.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or production.
• Confidence using hand-held power tools.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach.
• Ability to follow instructions and read measurements.
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and fit materials to specification.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read job instructions and basic technical drawings.
• Carry out quality checks on completed work.
• Record production progress accurately.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
