Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing their client, a leading company, in Stoke on Trent, for Assembly Operatives to work in their leading facility. The role is nights, Monday to Thursday, 6pm-6am, with overtime opportunities and a shift allowance that brings the hourly rate to £16.70.

You will use hand and power tools daily to assemble vehicle components, read drawings and install shelving, wiring, racking, towbars and lighting, ensuring all products meet required standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar assembly role.
• Must pass a drugs test.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components for vehicles and related assemblies.
• Use hand and power tools daily.
• Fit shelving, wiring, racking, towbars, lighting, etc.
• Work from engineering drawings and ensure correct standards.

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company, in their search for Assembly Operatives to work in their leading facility based in Stoke on Trent.

For the successful Assembly Operatives, our client is offering:

• Pay Rate of £16.70 (£12.85 + Shift Allowance = £16.70 per hour)
• Nights position - Monday to Thursday 6pm-6am
• Overtime available - (Time and a half during the week & on Saturdays / Double Time on Sundays)
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Bonus at Christmas depending on business performance
• Extra 1 day annual leave after 5 years of service
• Extra 2 days annual leave after 10 years of service

The Role - Assembly Operatives:

• Use of hand and power tools daily
• Assembling a variety of components for vehicles
• Fitting shelving/wiring/racking/towbars/lighting etc
• Working from drawings
• Ensuring all products are being installed to the correct standards

What our client is looking for in an Assembly Operative:

• Own hand tools - PREFERRED
• Our client is seeking candidates with experience in a similar area
• Must be able to pass a DRUGS test
• Ability to read from Engineering drawings
