Job summary

Select Appointments is recruiting for a Production & Assembly Operative in Long Stratton, Norfolk, to join a growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves measuring, cutting and assembling interior components to the highest standard, using a range of hand and power tools.

Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, you will contribute to timely production, complete accurate progress records and maintain a clean, safe workspace. The role offers stable hours at £13 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly or production.
• Confidence using hand-held power tools.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work from measurements.
• A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials to specification.
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Reading job instructions and basic technical drawings.
• Carrying out quality checks on completed work.
• Recording production progress accurately.
• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
