Job summary

Holcim in Leicestershire is offering a Level 3 Materials Technician apprenticeship. You will work on Bardon Hill, Coalville, learning to sample, test and report on the quality of sand, aggregates and bituminous products alongside experienced technicians.

The role starts September 2027, with a starting salary of £18,500 per year, 40 hours per week, and a package that includes 25 days leave, a site vehicle access and enhanced family benefits. A driving licence and 18+ status are required.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on work in a materials laboratory and on site.
• Ability to follow testing procedures and record results accurately.
• Comfort with working outdoors and in a busy site environment.
