Holcim is offering a Construction Materials Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3) based in Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire. Start date September 2027. The role combines hands-on lab work with site experience, developing skills in sampling, testing and reporting on sand, aggregates and bituminous products.

You will work with experienced technicians, learn safety standards, and gain a recognised qualification while building a long-term career in the construction materials industry.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical work in a laboratory or on site.
• Ability to work safely following procedures.
• Good maths and data recording skills.

Responsabilités

• Learn to sample, test and report on sand, aggregates and bituminous products.
• Carry out tests and record results using laboratory systems.
• Work with experienced technicians learning procedures and quality standards.
• Spot issues and help investigate product concerns.
• Support maintenance and calibration of equipment.
