AB Boutique Hotels Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager for our St Mawes boutique property. You will lead daily operations across restaurant, bar, café and in-room dining, ensuring warm, attentive service and a memorable guest experience.

You will manage, mentor and develop the F&B team, optimise rosters and costs, and work closely with the Head Chef to align front and back of house operations. A boutique luxury setting with potential pre-opening opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• You’ll be a natural host and an experienced Food & Beverage leader who genuinely enjoys creating great guest experiences.
• Strong restaurant and bar operational experience.
• Good commercial awareness, including payroll, stock control and departmental costs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day Food & Beverage operation across the restaurant, bar, café and in-room dining.
• Creating a consistently warm, relaxed and professional guest experience.
• Leading from the floor and supporting the team during key service periods.
• Recruiting, training, motivating and developing the Food & Beverage team.
• Managing rotas and staffing levels in line with business needs and payroll budgets.
• Working closely with the Head Chef to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
• Monitoring revenue, stock, costs, wastage and departmental performance.
• Identifying opportunities to increase revenue and improve the guest experience.
• Handling guest feedback confidently and positively.
• Maintaining excellent standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation.
• Ensuring food safety, allergen, licensing and health & safety requirements are followed.
