Job summary

Yourdigitalfuture is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the IT Operations team in Newton Abbot. This on‑site, office‑based role involves hands‑on responsibility for server, network and cloud‑hybrid infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues and driving improvements.

You’ll administer Windows Server, Exchange Online and VMware/Hyper‑V environments, manage patching and security, and automate tasks with PowerShell while collaborating across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a business‑critical IT environment.
• Hands-on work in server, network and infrastructure environments.
• Exposure to cloud and on‑premises hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining server, network and infrastructure environments.
• Administering Windows Server and Exchange Online.
• Supporting VMware and/or Hyper‑V virtual environments.
• Working with VLANs, VPNs and networking technologies.
• Managing patching, security and infrastructure monitoring.
• Using PowerShell to automate administration.
• Contributing to infrastructure improvements and projects.
• Keeping technical documentation up to date.
