Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is looking for an Industrial Electrical & Controls Engineer to work UK site-based and field-based across heavy industry. You’ll handle PLC-controlled machinery, motor control systems, VSDs and automation equipment, diagnosing faults and delivering practical solutions.

You’ll support electrical installations, commissioning, and control-system improvements on site, travel to customer locations, read electrical drawings, and collaborate with engineers and site teams to

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical or Electronic Engineering HNC/HND.
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control-system faults across industrial machinery.
• Work with PLC-controlled systems and identify faults in automated processes.
• Support installation, modification and commissioning of electrical and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and control-system documentation.
