Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team on large-scale process plant projects in the South East England region. The role covers installation, commissioning, fault finding and ongoing maintenance of industrial production plants, with a mix of workshop, site and project work.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical engineering for process plants.
• Background in manufacturing, aggregates, quarrying, or heavy industry.
• Strong fault-finding and commissioning experience with industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems on industrial process plants.
• Support control panel builds and industrial electrical installations.
• Commissioning new plant and production equipment.
• Carrying out electrical testing and inspection before handover.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on production machinery.
• Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Work with PLC-controlled equipment to identify and resolve operational faults.
• Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, valves and other equipment.
• Assist with electrical upgrades, modifications and plant improvements.
• Liaise with customers and co-engineers during installation and commissioning projects.
