Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Industrial Electrical & Controls Engineer for UK site-based and field-based projects across heavy industry. You will diagnose faults, improve control systems, and support commissioning on PLC-controlled machinery.

You'll work with electrical panels, MCCs, VSDs, and PLC/HMI/SCADA systems, travelling to customer sites and collaborating with site teams to minimise downtime and boost plant reliability.

Qualificações

• NVQ/L3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and control-system faults on industrial machinery.
• Work with PLC-controlled systems and identify faults in automated processes.
• Support installation, modification and commissioning of electrical/control systems.
• Fault-find on motor control centres, electrical panels and VSDs.
• Investigate sensors, instrumentation and safety circuits.
• Assist with PLC, HMI and SCADA configuration and improvements.
• Support machinery upgrades and automation improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and site teams to minimise downtime.
